This week our group divvied up the scenes and shots for the 2D animatic in order to block out the short in 3D. Our goal is to play around more with camera and setting up properly sized environments and characters. I was put in charge of the final scene, the one where the students are giving a presentation for their reaping results. I also worked on scene 06 doing the shot where the old man is comforted by the kids. As discussed in our group, we worked out a small change to the intro of the short to clarify the motive behind forcing the two kids to work together.
I'm still working on cleaning up topology of finished assets as they were auto-UVed and quite messy.
