We have finalized all main character designs. Taking into account which parts of the designs from each concept submitted that we liked, we've frankendolled together Muerto's and Shine's final design. Grim, La Muerta, and the Old Man (OM) didn't have concept art that was super diverse so we voted on the design we liked best. Base models are finished and should be ready to rig and sculpt.
We've also assigned assets of the environment scene we're doing, which is the IRS's exterior, the island. With this we have also made an asset list and have already started on modeling the environment. We also went over the story again overall and assigned people to sections of the story to create a new animatic for the short.
